When practicing EFT, you focus your attention on the problem that you are experiencing while tapping on 9 or 10 acupuncture points (as shown above). These are meridian points, which some experts believe to be areas of the body where energy flows, kind of like qi. When we are not at our best, these areas can be blocked and create illness in the body.
By tapping on these points with our fingertips, we can help to restore the balance of energy and resolve physical + emotional issues.
After a few rounds of tapping, you’ll notice the pain or discomfort you were feeling is less. You feel less bothered by the issue you were tapping on.
I like using the number system of tracking my progress: 10 being the most intense or most painful, and 0 is not bothered by the issue at all.
